Today is a busy day. I’m finishing up work for the week at home, and then Dana and I have to get packing so that we can get on the road around 9 or 10 tonight. We’re not real sure how well Johnny will take such a long ride, so it’s gonna be an adventure
All the pieces for Big John’s PC finally arrived, so I have a small project to finish up when I get home. I’ll have to post some pics when it’s all said and done.
Other than that, have a good week, and check back next week for new pictures from Michigan.
Well, this week has been pretty uneventful so far. Dana and I are trying to kick the slight cold that we have, which I must say sucks… We are also desperately trying to make sure the little one doesn’t get sick.
There is one new pic in the Exploring the Apartment gallery, but not much new.
We are also getting ready to head to Rogers City, MI for a week with Grandma and Grandpa A. There’s absolutely nothing there (including a phone) so don’t expect any posts until we get back on Sat. Aug. 7. I’m sure we’ll have plenty of good pictures though, and maybe we’ll stick Johnny’s feet in the lake.
Johnny went to his first church picnic yesterday. We didn’t take too many pictures, mostly because he slept the whole time.
Dana and I woke up this morning with sore throats, so I am working from home today and helping take care of the little stinker.
Please visit the forums, register, and post suggestions (Including what categories you would like in the forums). Pass the word to others too. It would be nice if my little site was put to some use.
Johnny’s first day at the zoo wasn’t that exciting for him. He decided to sleep the entire time…so maybe next time he’ll be a little more excited. Of course, he woke up as soon as we left and wanted to eat and peed all over Matt’s tire (don’t ask how he did it, we don’t even know).
Click here for zoo pics and we put up some new headshots in this gallery
Since I seem to be in a lull as far as things to do at work, I have taken it upon myself to find as much open source website software as I could and install it on this server. The first two were this weblog Wordpress and Gallery, both of which Dana and I are going to try to use to keep everyone up to date on Deuce.
In an effort to see if I can get more people to give me input on the site and keep in touch with each other, I’ve installed phpBB. It can be reached at http://forums.bluegator.org/. Please register so you can post, post, post to your hearts content. I’ll be adding more forums so everyone feels like they have their own special place here (Geez, that’s corny…).
Hope to see everyone I don’t see in person online.
