Sunday was my birthday, which made the weekend interesting. Saturday Grandma and Grandpa A had steak for my birthday, and Sunday, Grandma and Grandpa G had, guess what, steak.
Dana and I went to Target on Saturday to get Deuce’s picture taken. He posed like a little ham, and we got some really good pictures… Now we just have to hope we’ll get them in time to send out.
Thanksgiving weekend was very relaxing, and I think Dana and I are going to make a trip to Walmart to get a Christmas tree. I can’t wait.
Anyone going out today (including my wife Dana and her mom) must be crazy. It’s like a madhouse all over the area.
Deuce and I are staying indoors today.
In all the stuff that’s gone on in the past year, this holiday season is shaping up to be one of the best ever. Not so much because of the presents, but just the people. Deuce is such a wonderful addition to the family, and he and his little cousins bring a newfound sense of youth to the season.
Plus, for the first time in my life, I have a child for Christmas. That means I can play Santa. I love it.
Hope everyone has a safe Thanksgiving weekend. I’ll be holed up at home with Deuce while Mom goes shopping.
Well, this weekend was pretty hectic, and the week is shaping up to be the same way. We went over Grandma and Grandpa G’s to watch the Steelers narrowly beat Cincinatti, 19-14.
Today was a pretty good day though. First, I found out that 3WS is playing all Christmas music. I love the holidays, and it’s great to know they are approaching. Second, Cirque Du Soleil is coming in April. Probably one of the best entertainment events I have ever attended, and will definitely attend this year.
Other than that, Dana and I are preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Deuce is preparing to crawl
I’ve been playing around with Kubrick for a while and came up with what I think is a pretty good holiday template.
The template images come from Digital Blasphemy, a great site with wallpaper-sized 3D images. I’m thinking about doing some more Kubrick editing with the Digital Blasphemy images. They seem to work well.
