Dana bought our Christmas present to each other yesterday: a Bearcat police scanner. Why, you may ask, did we decide to purchase a police scanner for Christmas?
Well, there is nothing more fun than listening to people getting arrested.
Well, Christmas, as I predicted, turned out to be a very draining weekend. We spent most of Christmas Day at Grandma A’s house. Deuce was a bit cranky after the long Christmas Eve day, but he definitely found time to open all his fun toys from Grandma and Grandpa.
Sunday we went to church with Grandma and Grandpa G, and then went to Aunt Karen’s house to eat and watch the Steeler’s clinch home field throughout the playoffs. We got home about 5:30 or so, and everybody crashed early.
Yesterday was a much needed rest, we went to Kohl’s for a couple of things and stayed home the rest of the day. Deuce napped about 3 times, he was worn out from the weekend activities.
I know, we have a bunch of pictures waiting to be posted, and as soon as I can I’ll post them to the gallery.
Deuce’s first Christmas started today at Great-Grandpa Duke’s house today. Deuce got to see all his aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was a little cranky, but only because he didn’t sleep a whole lot.
Check out all our new pics from Christmas Eve. We also got some video of him opening presents, but you’ll have to wait for the DVD for that footage ![]()
Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday, and we’ll be posting pics from Grandma A’s tomorrow.
Dana is officially done with work this week, she has some gift wrapping to do tomorrow. I am working from home, trying to get some coding done so I can release next week.
Deuce is ready and rarin’ to go, he can’t wait to bust into his presents. We may need a bigger apartment.
We posted a couple new pics in the Gallery. Check ‘em out.
And the current temperature in the Pittsburgh Area: 3 degrees. While I know it’s much colder elsewhere, it’s still cold here. I don’t know how people live north of here.
Luckily I’m working from home today, so we don’t have to take Deuce anywhere.
