Since i finally got Neuron fixed for the AlexKing.org theme contest, it’s time to change the look of little Deuce’s website. With over 140 themes submitted to the competition, I definitely have some work to do.

Dana looked through the themes yesterday, and we are going to pick one and customize it to our liking. Yes, I know, I’ve been kinda goofy with themes as of late, but change is healthy. You get bored looking at the same screen all the time, and I started at the Neuron theme so long I’m seeing it in my sleep.

So check back in the next few days, I’ll try to have something up and running by the weekend.

I think (knock on wood) that everyone is starting to feel a little better. Perhaps it’s the little bit of sunshine the area has been graced with as of late. The little one seems to be getting over his ear infection, hopefully it will stay away for a while now.

I don’t think I’ve quite explained the speed with which little Deuce is developing. I know, we’ve been without new pictures for a while (and we will work to correct that), but let’s see if I can summarize.

He’s really starting to cruise on his own. He will pull himself up on anything that will support him (and some things that won’t), and has started to transition from one object to another (rocker to toolbox, couch to jeep, etc). He babbles a lot, and is definitely attempting to use the same syllables to determine certain objects (the dog’s are usually “adda” or “oggy”).

It’s really amazing, because about 9 months ago, all he did was eat, sleep, poop and cry. He’s so active now, and will only continue to become more mobile and agile (and hostile, if he’s like his mom ).

Deuce has been sick this weekend, and pretty much a crabby little child (I wonder who he gets that from?). Other than that, it’s been a pretty quiet weekend. He did make it through church, which is always good.

Well, Dana and I think that Deuce may have gotten ear infections again (or he never got rid of them in the first place). I don’t like that at all, he’s been on two different antibiotics, and we gave him the full amount every day for the duration specified by the doctor, and he still has them.

Dana is calling the doctor’s office today to try and get him an appointment and see if we can get these infections kicked. I don’t know what’s causing such a bad infection, but I hope they give him something that will cure it.
