SSH Tunneling
Published 2.18.2005 by ~mattg
Because the company I know work for is smart about their network security, they block most ports, including the ones for the website and the remote desktop connection. So basically, I couldn’t even view my website or connect to my PC at home.
And then I discovered SSH tunneling. It’s pretty easy and works wonders, allowing me to connect to my PC via remote desktop from work. I use PuTTy for the SSH Client and it works fine through the Fedora Linux box.
I’m happy to announce that the website visiting numbers are through the roof, and I’m continuing to work on the Neuron theme.
