ATI Driver Memory Leak

Apparently there is a huge memory leak in the ATI CLI.EXE when you use remote desktop on WinXP. If I use RD from work, after a while I get a “Virtual Memory Too Low” message on my machine. I checked the VM usage for CLI.EXE, and it ends up being like 1 or 2 GB of memory, which is ridiculous.

I’m going to upgrade to the lates Catalyst drivers (5.3, I think) and see if that solves the problem. If it doesn’t, I’ll have to put a support ticket in to ATI and see what they say.

    Unfortunately, Jonas, I have not found a solution to said problem.. Although after installing the latest drivers from ATI, it does seem to be happening a bit less than it was before.

    Maybe try updating?
