B-3 Awards January 14 - 27, 2006

Well, last week was a little slow… But I’ll pick it up again this week, promise.
As for our illustrious winners… One needs no introduction:
“When you look at the way the House of Representatives has been run, it has been run like a plantation.” Hillary Clinton (Time.com)
And the crowd goes… silent? No, who would go silent after such a stunning simile? People wonder why the democrats lose.
The other winner I cannot classify as stupid, but he may be “sleeping with the fishes” sooner than he thinks:
“It is like asking John Gotti to do what he can to clean up organized crime.” Harry Reid, Senate Minority Leader (Time.com)
There were some other notables this week, but these two, in my opinion, tipify what I’ve seen coming out of Washington these days. While Reid may be correct, don’t shine that light on the Democrats, for I’m sure you would uncover some of the same “corruption” with which the Republicans are now charged.
I can’t wait to get Sirius Radio so I can listen to ESPN Radio 24/7. Yea, it’s sports, but at least it’s not some blowhard pundit telling me that the media is out to get the right. or that the “neocons” are ruining the government.
