Install 'intellimouse-compatible', for lack of a better term, drivers (eg. Logitech has SetPoint.exe). When running it will provide the mouse APIs to most standard window/controls. Though it appears to use a signed word value, regardless. So to get the full 65,536 range would require some manipulation.. otherwise it's stuck to a range around 32k.

Hi, Matt. I have used Neuron to create my site, Le Mot Juste Web Edit.com. I want to have the home page as the first page people see when they arrive. How do I do this?
Thanks very much for designing such a beautiful and easy to use template.

I'm beginning to think there was some type of memory timing issue. I defaulted my bios settings and it seems to be running like a champ now.

I was able to go from 6 directly to 8. If you follow the notes from the page above, the biggest change is the use of libdata for IDE drives. As long as you follow the instructions, you shouldn't have any problems.

Did you do a two step process (6->7, 7->8) or did you go straight from 6 to 8?

You know, I sometimes question my posting of such things, because I'm not sure that anyone (myself included) ever uses them again.

However, from time to time I get comments like yours that justifies my time in documenting such problems. Thanks :)

Micro Magic is a site I've been using for several years now to purchase products. It surprised me to see so many complaints with the service in regards to this company. So, I thought I'd take the opportunity to leave a overdue positive bit of text. I recently ordered parts for a new Linux Box from Micro Magic, once the order was placed, it took 3 days to receive everything. 3 Days for the order to travel from CA to ME... I call that pretty good. And as per usual every part came in good working order. This merchant is way better then Newegg or shop.com

Richard,

I'm not overclocking, and the chip I bought (as described on their website) was compatible with my chipset.

And yes, I was able to speak with someone at first. He agreed to refund my money (minus a small restocking fee), which is what I agreed to do. I shipped the RAM chip back, but I never received my refund. I repeatedly tried to call.

The other problem I have is what happened when I tried to call on January 3, 2007 (see here for a rundown of my situation). When I called from my cell phone, they answered, but as soon as I said my name, the call was "lost." I thought, eh, it happens. I tried calling a few times from my cell phone and was immediately connected to the phone's voice mail. I thought that was odd. So I called back again on my wife's phone (no more than five minutes after my initial call). The same person answered, and as soon as I said my name, they hung up... I tried repeatedly to call on my phone and my wife's phone, but kept receiving the voice mail. I left a few voice mail messages and sent numerous emails over the next few days, but no one ever responded to my messages, and no one ever picked up the phone.

Had I received a refund, my story would not have seen this web site. I've purchased numerous items from the internet and had to return them for one reason or another. I have no problem with that. The problem is, 4MagicUs owes me a $75 refund, and every time I try to get a hold of them, I am ignored.

Other's stories of incorrect RAM or deliberate fraud are just that, their own stories. I take no responsibility for the content of the comment of others on this site. Whether or not they are true, you'll have to ask them.
